French Desk/Table

£185.00

There’s a quiet confidence to this piece. Nothing flashy, just a lovely, timeworn table with decades of use and character in every scuff and scrape. We’re not entirely sure what it started life as, possibly a little writing desk or perhaps a kitchen side table, but it works brilliantly in either role today.

The wood has been left raw and unpolished, and that’s part of its charm. The top is full of old marks, faded ink stains, and the kind of wear that only comes from actual daily use. It’s got a single central drawer with a worn wooden knob, and those tapered legs give it a gentle elegance.

We’ve used it as a writing table and also styled it as a hallway console, but it could just as easily work as a small desk in a studio or a side table in a kitchen or living space. It’s simple, tactile and full of soul - the kind of piece that definitely makes a space feel more interesting.

Dimensions: H70cm high x D57cm x W99cm
